Comments about Pure Vita Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food:

Our 2 Dogues de Bordeaux were 6 years old when this food was recommended. Before moving her to PureVita, Blossom regurgitated several times a day and she suffered from serious skin problems. We'd tried everything, including other holistic foods, single-protein food ... everything. She even regurgitated water. From the very first meal of PureVita she stopped all regurgitation and her skin is better than ever. This food is a Godsend. Additionally, both dogs are satisfied with much less food than with other brands we tried.

Comments about Pure Vita Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food:

On the recommendation of friends (and some on-line research), we purchased Pure Vita food from our local pet store. It has significantly reduced the yeast infections of the skin (dry bumps that the dog will constantly scratch until it sometimes bleeds). It has given our Spaniel back his energy and playfulness. The taste must be good as he attacks it as if he has never eaten (we neither under nor over feed him). It has the extra bonus of being made in the good ole US of A! It is expensive (we feed it to all three of our dogs) compared to what we were paying, but then the ingredients of other brands were making "Toby" miserable. Well worth it to us and Pet Food Direct has the best prices we have found. We love that it is shipped to us (we also get the extra savings by using the "Auto Ship").

Comments about Pure Vita Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food:

This food has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced the problem with coprophagia (poop eating!)I had with my dogs. It must be the high digestibility. I had tried many other high priced premium foods which claimed to be highly digestible- both the all natural/holistic types and also the brands they promote at dog shows and in ads with no success. I was told by one company's customer service rep that it was purely behavioral and had nothing to do with the food. I almost believed her until I started the dogs on PureVita and wow, what a difference! I'd say it is 99% improved. I am also very happy with their general body condition, coats, energy levels and overall health.

Comments about Pure Vita Chicken & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food:

My senior dog has allergies and is prone to yeast infections of the skin. I tried Precise Sensicare lamb flavor, which he hated, and Planet Organics, which made his stool very loose (from the Brewers Yeast). This one has great ingredients, no sugary potatoes, or brewers yeast, and he loves it too-- which says a lot because he's entirely too finicky when it comes to food. I have only started using it so I'm not sure how it will affect him in the long run but I'm optimistic that it will meet my family's incredily high standards for pet food & nutrition.
