My cat Butch is a long haired Maine Coon. He was in so much pain, trying to use the litter box but could not go. He would strain to go and he would have bloody urine drops. My vet checked him and he has crystals in his bladder. He has been placed on Hill's Presription Diet c/d. Butch was low in wheight only 7 lbs for a 4 yer old cat who is to be a big breed. 1/2 cup twice was his vet plain. Butch is know 11 lbs and is pain free and doing verry well all through a change in his diet. He know eats about a 3/4 a feeding. Belive it true I have 3 other cats that we tried to keep seperated for feeding time, Butch has got out and did reach the other common store brand food. He started bleeding right away again and was in pain, the vet had me just feed all cats The Hill's precription. They all act 100% better. I did not know a litter box could inprove so much from such a change in diet. Thank you Hill's. You saved my cat's life with this food and he's here to screm at me when he's hungry. Thank you, Stacey Fredson

I have been forced to feed my male cat the wet c/d cat food in order to stop him from having urine issues. I feel the wet food leaves him hungry and upsets his belly but at least I haven't had to rush him to the vet in a couple years. I thought maybe the dry c/d food would also work so I gave it a try. At first it seemed ok when I was mixing it with the wet but as I increased the dry vs wet mix, I noticed kitty was spending too much time in the litter box...just sitting there. Sure tell sign that he is having urine issues again. I immediately stopped feeding him the dry food and all seems ok again. Wish it worked because he loved the taste, he wasn't throwing up anymore and it sure is easier (and smells better) than the can foods. It may work for other cats but it didn't for mine. I will be sticking with the canned c/d food.

This food is great for cats with urinary tract problems

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d MultiCare with Chicken Feline Dry Cat Food:

I have used C/D for urinary tract problems and it works the best. If you start your kitten out on this in the beginning do not change to something else. It is a good product.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d MultiCare with Chicken Feline Dry Cat Food:

Bought this because my 2 year old male cat was having urinary tract issues (blockages). My vet reccommended this product. My cat loves this food. I was worried that he wouldn't like it but he does! So far, no urinary issues either!!

    Healthy Pets, Happy Pet Parents

    By 3cats

    from Lockport, NY

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d MultiCare with Chicken Feline Dry Cat Food:

Our three cats have been eating dry C/D since our oldest cat was a kitten and had a medical problem. My middle guy was an SPCA cat and ate whatever they had in stock prior to coming to live with us. He took to the C/D immediately and being a fussy boy who won't even eat a treat, I was happy that the food met his "high standards"!!! I rated it average for value for the money because it is kind of pricy to feed three cats this prescription food but revisiting the vet bill from the medical issue, I might want to change that.

Best we have found for quality and price

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d MultiCare with Chicken Feline Dry Cat Food:

Our cat, Mr. Boots, is getting up in years; he is now 8 years old and has become more particular in the food he will eat. The transition from another brand of cat food to Science Prescription was very smooth and he loves it. His bladder problems have gone away (at least for now) and he is more active than before. Thanks Science Prescription for making his older years more pleasant for him and us. Tom
