My cat, Miracle, almost died two years ago due to lower urinary tract struvites. He made it to hospital, literally, just in time. Since Miracle has been on this canned Rx food, there has not been any problems. He's received great check-up reviews. Miracle will be celebrating his 15th birthday March 22nd. Out of all the Rx foods he eats for his condition, Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Morsels in Gravy is his absolute favorite. He's usually a nibbler when he eats, but this food seems to be an exception. I have to use it as a special treat since the portions are small. Miracle had been on hard food all his life; even prescription hard food which did not help his condition. I am very grateful for Royal Canin canned food. He's a very happy and playful cat.

My Cat has been on this diet for over 3 years now. At first he really enjoyed it, and now I think he is getting tired of it. Wish the company would come out with different brands. It definately needs variety!

My cat likes the little bit of gravy better than the morsels. Wish they would make another flavor, he sometimes won't eat unless I add some of the dry SO.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food:

Unfortunately my cat struggles with a disease that eliminates the use of a dry cat food diet and can only have wet cat food that contains the ingredients Royal Canin uses in their cat food. It's honestly the only thing that he can eat without getting a flair up and having to go to the vet. The only issue is that I'm spending a significant amount of money getting his food because I can only order it online with a prescription and I'm constantly having to spend money on shipping and the price always seems to go up. It is very good quality and my cat seems to love it and his coat is wonderful, i just wish there were other options to choose from or the shipping costs of this site weren't so high.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Morsels in Gravy Canned Cat Food:

My cat nearly died last year due to lower urinary tract atrivits. He is an abyssinian and apparently it is common with the males of this breed. The Vet recommended this type of food. Although my cat balked at the change in food when he first came home from the hospital over time he made the transition. He liked this brand of prescription food for his condition best so I stuck with hit. He eats less because the canned food has less fillers so it is better for him overall. Usually prescription canned foods smell and look like they would taste awful but this brand has done a pretty good job of avoiding these issues, and looks like any other cat food. I brought my cat to the Vet's for his 6 month check up recently. The Vet said he looked great and he does and has gained all the weight back that he lost. It is almost as if he never had this issue with his urinary tract. Additionally, although he still vomits occasionally it is much less than before. My other cat also enjoys so it is bonus. I do wish the cans came in the bigger size. With two cats I use two cans at a time.
