Wellness CORE, both dry & wet, have been the best cat foods my babies have tried since I put them on a grain-free diet over a year ago. My boy kitty died last February and all he would eat was the kibble, but my girl kitty loves both the wet & dry. I got two kittens this summer who are 8 mths old now and CORE is all I have given them. They love it! I must say that I can't get over how soft & shiny the CORE has made all of their coats. Best of all, I feel really good knowing I'm giving my babies the healthiest food I could find, in my opinion. Even if they decided they didn't like the CORE, I would try to only give them natural, grain-free food. It's the only way to go.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain Free Salmon, Whitefish and Herring Formula Canned Cat Food:

My cat is not picky about eating but she absolutely refuses to eat this salmon flavored cat food unless i disguise it by mixing with other cat food. It's not because she dislikes salmon or other fish, because she eats these ingredients from other brands, and she eats other flavors from the Wellness Core line, so i don't know what it is about this specific flavor.... I felt like i was torturing my cat every time i put this on her plate so i'm just going to give the rest of the cans away.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain Free Salmon, Whitefish and Herring Formula Canned Cat Food:

I have three cats, one of whom licks himself neurotically. I changed from the grocery store food brands to Blue Buffalo and EVO for his sake, now I have changed to a grain-free diet. There was no problem with the change over, they all love the new food. I am still waiting to see if the crazy licking subsides.

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain Free Salmon, Whitefish and Herring Formula Canned Cat Food:

In spite of all natural and healthy ingredients, should improve more quality control in term of the texture, color, smell and taste. Cats are quite sensitive to even a slightest changing in smell and taste in their food. And most of the time they really are right !

Comments about Wellness CORE Grain Free Salmon, Whitefish and Herring Formula Canned Cat Food:

My cat has skin allergies and I've always fed him Wellness, but decided to start giving him the Core (completely grain-free) to see if it helped any. He's been eating it for about a week now and I've already noticed an improvement. He had itchy pink patches on his face that are gone now. He gobbles it up, just loves the stuff, so I'll definitely keep buying it!

Very good value and my babe likes it very much!
The cons, if any, is a little bit hard to digest because of its high-protein formula, but not a problem if you donot feed your cat daily.
Overall I would like to give it 5 stars!
