Comments about Acana Regional Grasslands Grain Free Dry Dog Food:

The food is expensive because of the quality of the resources they use. I don't consider price a con only because you can't find that kind of care put into a PET food anywhere else. I wish I could afford to feed my dogs raw but I consider this the next best thing. Whenever I think about shrinking my budget for a cheaper food, the quality just doesn't compare and I can't seem to get myself to buy cheaper. I would definitely recommend this food to anyone with adult dogs. The only reason I don't recommend this food for puppies is because I prefer a food specific to a puppy's needs. I can't recall if Acana is available in a puppy formula but Orijen is the same company and they do have puppy formulas. This is the ONLY negative I can find about this food. It seems most holistic type foods are all life stages instead based on each life stage.

My English Setter loves this food and it has not had any adverse effects on his digestive system at switch.
The food is pricy but the small portion sizes mean that this is a great value for your money.
He is less itchy with this food as well and his coat is beautiful and shiny!

Comments about Acana Regional Grasslands Grain Free Dry Dog Food:

We decided to switch our 12-year-old Rot/Lab mix to a grain-free diet to see if it would help his digestion and skin allergies. Within a week, we saw a huge improvement! He's a much happier and healthier dog now.

      ATTENTION PET OWNERS:
Many pet owners are seeing the benefits of feeding their pets grain-free diets. Of these grain-free foods, Acana has quickly gained popularity. So much so that the manufacturer is having difficulties keeping up with the demand for their products. In an effort to keep the supply of Acana grain-free foods available to all areas of the country, they have limited the quantity a store can purchase at any one time. Unfortunately, that means we at PetFoodDirect can get only a limited supply for our customers. We will continue to work with our distributors to try to get more Acana grain-free foods in stock. If, however, you find your pet's food is out of stock when you need to place an order, please browse our Web site for alternative high-quality grain-free foods for your pets. Please follow these links: Dog or Cat. If you need advice selecting an alternative for your pet, please feel free to contact us via email from this page and select "Questions about Products" for the subject. Contact Us. Thank you.
