We have a cat that had very, very bad gas (think room clearing!). We tried several different kinds of food with no resolve. My sister recommended we try the Felidae Pure Elements after her vet recommended it to her for her cats. Thank goodness we tried it! What a difference in the cat with the tummy woes! We can cuddle him now, and his coat, and the coat of our other cat, looks great. They're happy, healthy boys!

My cat likes this dry kibble. I feed this and a canned food. This is what is available free-choice all day, and her weight seems to have gone down a bit (she was overweight) since changing to this food. I am happy about this, and I suspect it is the reduction of carbs helping her, as this is grain-free. I have also noted that her feces has much less odor now. She's always had a dry coat, and I do not see any improvement in that yet, but she has only been on this food for a month. The best part is that there was no vomiting during the switch-over or since. I have always had a problem with that when changing foods, but this food seems very easy to digest, no vomiting since switching. This is very pleasing. She actually gets excited enough to get up and meet me at the bowl half the time when I refill it, something she'd previously not done for years. All in all, I have to recommend this food if you have an older sedentary cat that is becoming obese. I have seen improvement in only a month in her energy level and her motivation, and I might be imagining it, but she seems to look a tiny bit less like a beach ball, and more like a cat in shape!

My 16yo cat loves this food. Her coat is beautiful, allergies are now at a minimum. Vet couldn't believe how old she is. She still hunts and is pretty active. Although Felidae is more costly than other foods, she eats less of it. My daughter's cat has always had digestive problems, but did well on the Felidae.

My two 10 month old kittens started eating this food right away - I mixed it with their kitten chow that they had been eating to 'ease' them into it, but they preferentially ate the Felidae immediately.

I bumbled into this food on sale at the shelter where I volunteer. One of my cats has a sensitive tummy and I had been looking to try a grain-free food, but they're all SO expensive. Felidae is good quality, you get quite a lot for the money, the cats LOVE it, and I have seen vomiting all but disappear from our household. After years of getting by on Meow Mix, I will never go back.
