Living in a rural area, many feral cats around. A young feral cat found his way to our barn. The young cat was very sick and hungry. Fortunately I had Taste of the Wild dog food. This cat truly enjoyed the meal! I quickly purchased Taste of the Wild canned and dry food for cats! This young cat has not missed a meal! Since, the cat has been vetted and neutered! This young boy has a permanent home with a great diet he enjoys! What a great feline at that!

I've been feeding this food for a few months & for the 3rd time I opened a can to find approx. 95% gravy with 3-5 small pieces of meat floating around. Hardly a balanced meal & the inconsistency makes me very uncomfortable. I contacted the company twice regarding their quality control, the first time I was told I'd receive a call back which I did not, the second time I was told I could return the can label for a refund. Frustrating & annoying & I won't be ordering this food again.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Formula in Gravy Canned Cat Food:

Like other wet foods, our cat mostly licks the juice and leaves the bits. But that's our cat's modus operandi, and not an indicator of a problem with the food.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Formula in Gravy Canned Cat Food:

When I purchased from the local pet store my cat loved this brand. So after I bought 2 cases here, neither of my cats would eat it--even the feral cat I feed outside!!?

Much more food than "soup" as in some other canned cat foods.

Helping kitten with digestive upset who only eats wet food. Seems to be improving energy level of our older cat but it's hard to tell if this is a result of the food.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Formula in Gravy Canned Cat Food:

My picky IBD kitty was happy to try this brand, and seems to be doing ok with it so far. I was worried about the texture, it is chunky with a little bit of sauce, and my cat usually only eats paté. But I just used a fork and mashed it up and he ate it right away. It seems to have quality ingredients. Though fruits & veggies should not really be in cat food, I don't see any chunks of them, so that's helpful. It's a grain free wet food so that's also a bonus.
