Comments about Kong Wobbler Food and Treat Dispensing Dog Toy:

This is a great concept. We have an 80 lb Black Lab/Rotty mix. He is only 11 mos old and is VERY active. Unfortunately the dispensing hole is too large for his kibble and he can empty it in 4-5 minutes. The second problem with it is that he was able to chew a hole in it in about a month. If your dog doesn't have the mouth strength of the "jaws of life" I'd recommend it.

Comments about Kong Wobbler Food and Treat Dispensing Dog Toy:

I have a German Shepherd and even as a Puppy he loved this toy. He bats it around the house and gets his treats out of it. This toy needs the Kong Salmon Treats. The hole is to big for Zukes.

The only two cons are that it smashes up against furniture and walls, and Zuke's natural treats are too small for it. I like using Zukes because I can get a pound for less than $10.

Comments about Kong Wobbler Food and Treat Dispensing Dog Toy:

My two boxers love this toy and each now eats their dinner meal out of it, which keeps them pretty busy in the evening while I eat my dinner.

I did buy the smaller size Kong Wobbler for each of them, even though each dog is 50-60 lbs, because the hole in the large size wobbler aloud kibble to just free flow out. The smaller size wobbler only allows one to two kibbles out at a time, but since it's smaller I can't quite fit all 2 cups of their meal in it and must refill it with the rest of their meal.

Comments about Kong Wobbler Food and Treat Dispensing Dog Toy:

I use the product to dispense treats & occupy a nervous dog; the dog has a hard time mouthing & picking up this kong. I had expected a more pliable rubber type material (similar to the regular Kong toys) and my dogs seem to enjoy those softer surface rubber type products better than this harder molded surface.

Comments about Kong Wobbler Food and Treat Dispensing Dog Toy:

The Kong wobbler is like a weeble-wobble and a treat dispenser all in one. It's pretty big, about the size of a football. I bought it to put kibble in so I could keep my 10m/o Malinois pup entertained while I worked, showered, cooked, etc. The dispensing hole is WAY too big and kibble just pours out of it. It hardly takes him any time to empty it. When he did empty it for the first time, being a Malinois, he went about finding a way to unscrew it. If this item had been as durable as regular Kong toys, he wouldn't have succeeded, but unfortunately it's a harder plastic and teeth do dent it. Once he got purchase, he went to town and took the thing apart. Now that he knows how to get it apart... well, he's a Malinois. This might be a perfect toy for a dumber, less determined breed.

          Q&A

          Manufacturer

          The KONG Story:

KONGs story began with a German Shepherd named Fritz, his owner, and a Volkswagen van. Fritz, a former police dog, enjoyed chewing rocks. This activity wore down his teeth and frustrated his owner, Joe Markham. One afternoon while working on his Volkswagen van, Joe noticed Fritz dining on rocks once again. Out of desperation, he started disassembling the van he was working on and threw parts near Fritz to see if he could be coaxed away from his destructive dinner. Radiator hoses didn’t work--neither did anything else until he pulled off a rubber suspension part and tossed it to Fritz. Right away, Fritz was ecstatic.

The KONG was born! While Fritz invented the KONG, it was Joe Markham who saw the potential of this odd-looking toy. Markham refined the toy’s design, developed a proprietary, super-strong rubber formula and began production in 1976.
