Product Details

When a small breed dog carries around too much weight, he or she is unhealthy and has less enjoyment in everyday activities. To lose weight correctly, a small breed dog must stimulate the use of its fat reserves. The amino acid L-carnitine may play an active role in fat metabolization, so it is included in Royal Canin Mini Breed Weight Care Dog 28 Dry Dog Food. Optimal levels of protein and fat meet reduced energy requirements and help maintain muscle mass. The factors that can lead to excess weight gain in small breed dogs include an unsuitable diet and genetic predisposition. Royal Canin Mini Breed Weight Care Dog 28 Dry Dog Food is for overweight small breed adult dogs up to 20 pounds who are from 11 months to 8 years of age. This premium dog food tastes great while helping reduce or maintain a healthy weight.

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Weight Care Dog (28):

I started using this product to help one of my Maltese to lose weight. She slimmed down and my other Maltese who didn't have a weight problem liked this formula better. Now they both eat the Weight Care formula. Always used Royal Canin based on breeder's recommendation.

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Weight Care Dog (28):

I feed my Cavalier Spaniel 2 times a day. I feel
her good health is attributed to the excellent
nutrition in Canin dog food. I feel I can either
pay good money for good product now or I can pay my vet later on for not giving my dog the correct
nutrition she needs daily. I will continue to give her the weight care--her coat looks really good and has she has lots of energy, she is a therapy dog and I want my little dog to continue sharing her with patients, visitors and staff at the hospital and I can do that with my healthy dog.

Comments about Royal Canin Mini Breed Weight Care Dog (28):

I'm amazed that my picky, slightly overweight JRT actually likes this "diet food"! But why is the package crimped in such a weird way at the top? This makes it hard to get into with a scoop and hard to pour.

This food helped my older daschund enjoy great health until his death at the age of 16. My 10-year-old doxie is very healthy and people think he is a much younger dog.
