Since I've been feeding my 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Trixie, Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier dry dog food, she has received so many compliments on how beautiful, healthy and shiny her coat is - someone even asked me if I had her "colored" because her blue and tan color was so luxurious and shiny! And both my groomer and vet even commented on Trixie's beautiful coat and great teeth. The best thing about this food though is that my Trixie is a VERY picky eater and she eats every last bit of kibble that I feed her. She loves it, which is the most important thing!

If dog is picky with food, don't buy

My dog is a picky eater. He will not eat it. I have tried it for almost two weeks.

I have tasted it and it's not over powering it is a simple taste. I used to work for Osens Grain and they teach you that real strong tastes can over power a dogs stomach.
Made in USA and they have never had a recall like Chinese Made Killer Dog Food.
My dogs love many foods. They are pure Breeds with Champion competition
My dogs eat many different things the only the the smaller yorkie is allergic to is peas

Comments about Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier (28) Dry Dog Food:

We feed this to a Silky Terrier (close cousin to the Yorkie). Like another poster, we had ours on a high listed food, but he seemed apathetic about it and worse yet, his coat did not look too good. So we tried this. He likes it, no tummy troubles, and his coat looks wonderful. Well worth the extra money!

          Manufacturer

The ethos of the Royal Canin brand is based on its unique vision of the dog and the cat: The conviction that dogs and cats are not human beings but animals, and as a result true respect obliges us to treat them as such. True respect implies certain obligations, one of which is the pursuit of knowledge. To truly know the animal and understand its specific physiological and nutritional requirements, and--in consequence--guarantee it a "tailor made" food in line with its real nutritional needs. Royal Canin's philosophy is therefore deliberately non-anthropomorphic. In the field of canine and feline nutrition, some manufacturers put the owners first and use them as the basis of all innovation. At Royal Canin, we put the dog and the cat at the heart of our research process; this is a radically different approach.
