Comments about Advantage II Topical Flea Treatment for Dogs 11-20 lbs.:

This used to work but not this time - after two treatements in 2 weeks, a shave, and many baths, my dog was still crawling with fleas and I was being devoured. I believe we have bred an Advantage-resistant flea population. I had to switch to the more expensive Comfortis, which worked immediately. How long until the fleas evolve to resist that, too? Oddly, the cat Advantage seems to work better, though I still find fleas on my cats. Comfortis for cats is still too new for me to want to experiment with it on my cats - maybe in another year.
