Comments about PetGuard Natural Digestive Enzyme Blend for Cats:

This powder turned out to be wonderful and meets all my expectations. Its a very lightweight, very fine type of powder with no odor and apparently no taste that my cat could determine. He easily accepted this mixed into his meals.

At first I was surprised at how small a dose is recommended per meal, and found it tricky to measure out such a small portion, however after a week or two, I got so used to the amount, that I now tip the bottle into the cap to get some powder to fall out, and if I overdo it, I knocked some back in, and then sprinkle over the food. The upside to this initial measurement issue is that this one bottle I order months ago is still going strong! So although maybe a bit pricey, it truly lasts a long time. (mine is now about 4 months old - used 2 to 3 times a day, and I am finally down to maybe 1/5th of the original amount and will order another soon as backup.

I ordered this because: 1) having additional digestive enzymes in anyone's diet is never a bad thing - always great for maximizing nutrient digestion from every meal, so great too for cats

        2) My cat is now 9 years old, and with age comes more sensitive digestive tracts, which enzymes help since they are what aid digestive function within our bodies to begin with.

3)I adopted my cat when he was 8 years old, and from the very start, he had runny stools often and very foul smelling ones. I have had cats all my life, so I know the difference between what is normal or truly too strong a stool odor. He was in healthy condition, I was feeding him high quality foods, so I knew he must simply have a sensitive stomach so bought this product.

I am very happy I did! I saw results right away however finally saw all the runny stool issue leave maybe 5 weeks afterwards. Ever since he is now producing a normal firmer stool, and also the smell has gone away as well. (Or rather back to normal low odor - before it spread through the entire apartment!)
So overall, I would highly recommend giving this product a try for any age cat with or without digestive issues, because either way, it will only enhance nutrient absorption in their system,
but if you have an older cat, or one who vomits or has bathroom issues, even more so, try one bottle, and see if half way through you don't notice a difference.

Comments about PetGuard Natural Digestive Enzyme Blend for Cats:

OK- the litterbox offerings have been sparse lately -- think of all that "stuff" in your cats intestines, just sitting there -- building up toxins. Nuh uh. They need a mild cleanse. So, into their WET food, I mix the suggested amount for both cats depending on size -- one is a monster, the other is dainty -- I cover it with more wet food, then take the back of the fork and impress little ridges onto the top of the food- add a little olive oil (optional) and a little spring water (optional). When I get home that evening, I head for the litter boxes, because I KNOW that "PetGuard Natural Digestive Enzyme Blend for Cats " WIll do its work. (Sometimes I have to wait until the next day, but this stuff is unfailingly effective!)
I sometimes use it twice a week. i ALWAYS use it once a week. Even the Catsitter is impressed at how well it works.

Comments about PetGuard Natural Digestive Enzyme Blend for Cats:

I love this supplement. I just wish it came in a larger bottle as I use it for 8 cats. I switched to another enzyme but would go back this if it was in a larger size.
