Comments about Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry Dog Food:

My 6 dogs love the chihuahua dog food.. I have 4 chihuahuas, 1 Pomeranian and a Papillon. They all love it. I give my 8 month old chi pup the puppy food. My dogs have been eating this brand for 10 years now and I doubt I will ever change to a different food.I cannot say anything negative about Royal Canin.

Comments about Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry Dog Food:

My 6 chi's always gobble up their Royal Canin dry dog food! I've occasionally tried other foods on sale, but they've been known to leave it. Even if I mix it together, they will pick out and eat only the Royal Canin. They are the happiest, healthiest, most energetic dogs you have ever seen. Even the breeder said to me "That's the best you can buy!" so I know I'm doing right by them. Wish it was cheaper, but I will continue to give my dogs only the best.

Comments about Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry Dog Food:

This is the best size food I've tried for my 5 small dogs...and they love the taste.
It would be great if the bag could be made of a recyclable material.
            The cost is somewhat high.

I feed 4 chihuahuas and 2 pomerians, they all eat together. Bowls are clean and little bellies are full. They have energy as they are playful.

Comments about Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry Dog Food:

I love this dog food for my dog... I have an extra small Brussels Griffon dog weighs only 4 1/2 pounds. She had tiny teeth and it was impossible for her to crunch food when I tried to put her on regular size dry dog food (she weighed two pound at that time) and I wanted her on dry dog food. I tried many brands before I discovered Royal Canin. The problem was either she could not break up and chew to other brands or she didn't like the taste of the food. I then ran across Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry in a pet store I bought a small bag of it.. and gave her some and instantly she gobbled it down. She still loves it 5 years later. Her body and teeth have stayed very healthy. While her vet sells other brands from his office, he doesn't even hint for her to change her food type. I can only assume it is because she is so full of energy and is so very healthy on the Royal Canin Chihuahua (28) Dry food. I highly recommend this dog food especially for high energy small dogs.

                Manufacturer

The ethos of the Royal Canin brand is based on its unique vision of the dog and the cat: The conviction that dogs and cats are not human beings but animals, and as a result true respect obliges us to treat them as such. True respect implies certain obligations, one of which is the pursuit of knowledge. To truly know the animal and understand its specific physiological and nutritional requirements, and--in consequence--guarantee it a "tailor made" food in line with its real nutritional needs. Royal Canin's philosophy is therefore deliberately non-anthropomorphic. In the field of canine and feline nutrition, some manufacturers put the owners first and use them as the basis of all innovation. At Royal Canin, we put the dog and the cat at the heart of our research process; this is a radically different approach.
