Between what ages is a dog considered a puppy?
Depending on the breed, a dog is considered a puppy from birth up until 9 to 15 months old. As your puppy grows and needs to get all of its vital nutrients, foods like Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food will help them do that as it provides all-natural antioxidants and digestible energy.
What’s the best way to introduce foods into a puppy’s diet?
The process of weaning a newborn puppy can be a trying experience, but introducing a puppy to foods should begin around the four-week mark of its life. Start with the small, recommended quantities and gradually build up its diet as it gets older and stronger. At around the eight-week mark, puppies should be adjusted to their new diet and understand eating.
How many times a day should a puppy eat?
Depending on their weight and breed, growing puppies should have three to four balanced meals a day, preferably in the morning, afternoon, and early evening. Try to avoid overfeeding (as well as giving a puppy too many treats) to maintain a healthy weight and good eating habits as it transitions into being an adult. >br> What should I do if my puppy is eating too fast?
It’s important to monitor your puppy’s eating habits, particularly if they are eating too fast. This hazardous habit could lead to choking and/or gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), a possibly fatal condition that causes the stomach to twist. There are a few tricks of the trade to get your puppy to eat slower, including placing toys or smaller bowls inside their bowl so that they must eat around them. Timed dishes—which releases food in portioned increments—are also an option as your puppy learns to eat properly.
What are the health benefits of Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food?
For growing puppies, Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food provides all-natural and wholesome ingredients (including nutritious super foods like salmon and sweet potatoes) and is filled with vitamins, minerals, and antibiotics.
What are the benefits of probiotics for puppies?
Probiotics are the good kind of bacteria that allow your growing dog to fight off bad bacteria, as well as creating a healthy, balanced digestive system.
Does Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula contain Ethoxyquin?
No. Like all Taste of the Wild products, Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula contains no ethoxyquin, a controversial preservative and synthetic antioxidant which can be found in fish meals. (Internal testing finds any ethoxyquin levels in Taste of the Wild Foods is a mere 0.0005%.) Taste of the Wild works closely with fish meal suppliers to ensure ethoxyquin stays out of the products.
Where is Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food made and manufactured?
Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food is proudly made and manufactured, along with all other Taste of the Wild, in the United States of America.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food:

We tried putting our 3 month old Alaskan Malamute on Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice Large Breed Puppy food and his stomach did not handle it well. So I decided to try a grain-free AND chicken free kibble… enter TOTW. It has been a week so far that he has been on Taste of the Wild and his bowel movements are back to normal, he has less eye gunk, and his coat has less dandruff.

So good, so far! Fingers crossed we have found the right food for Zeke!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream Puppy Formula Dry Food:

I HAVE THREE DOGS THEY LIKE THIS FOOD OK. BUT I HAVE PICKY EATERS. I HAVE A SHIH TZU,SHIH POO, SHEPARD MIX PUPPY. THEY DIDN'T LIKE THIS FOOD AT FIRST BUT EVENTUALLY STARTED TO LIKE IT. I THINK THEY DIDN'T CARE FOR THE FLAVOR. EVEN THE BIG DOG WAS HESITANT AT FIRST SHE EATS ANYTHING. THEY PREFER THE BLUE BUFFALO WILDERNESS. I'LL TRY A DIFFERENT FLAVOR NEXT TIME AND SEE IF IT'S THE FISH FLAVOR THEY DON'T CARE FOR BUT THEY SEEM TO LIKE IT NOW MAYBE IT'S A FLAVOR THAT HAS TO GROW ON THEM.
