Comments about Evangers Evanger's Grain Free Meat Lover's Medley with Rabbit Dry Cat Food:
I have a special needs cat who is allergic to fish and fowl. It took me about 4 1/2 hours to find this food, which is fish and fowl free. I had to switch all five cats to this food because I live in a small studio and it was easier than feeding them seperately.
After a month or less one of my cats started jumping on the counter looking for food. I assumed he felt he wasn't getting something he needed from this so I fed him what was left of the Natural Balance I had. Sure enough the other cats stopped eating the Evangers too, once they realized there was an alternative. So needless to say, the brood did not care for this food.
Also, the cat I had purchased this for, with the food allergy, was not getting better. Without going through the hassle of another "food trial", I assumed she was allergic to the beef also and decided that switching her to canned food and feeding them seperately was the best option.
Anyway, my cats didn't like this. So much so that one of them would have rather starved.
Important to note that this company has had issues with business practices and the actual content of their food has been questionable in the past. Although my animals did not get sick from this food, there was something about it they did not like. Do your own research and use at your own risk.
