Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Senior Consult Dry Cat Food:

I have 2 senior cats, one of which has a heart murmur. The vet recommended this food for the lower sodium content as a benefit to keeping blood pressure low. Even though it's a little on the pricey side for me (they don't pay for it as they are both unemployed), both of my cats are enjoying it so I am assuming that means it tastes good. I have not personally tasted the food.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Senior Consult Dry Cat Food:

My 2 cats (ages 7 & 11) eat this food daily. It was vet recommended for the older cat because she had a history of struvite crystals. However the vet said it was OK for both cats to eat it. Both cats are very healthy, their fur is soft and shiny, they are energetic, and they are both slim despite us leaving the food out all day for them to munch on. I've used other Royal Canin cat foods in the past and have always been happy with them. Their food tends to be a little pricey, but it's totally worth it. I wouldn't feed my cats anything else.
