Comments about Trimline Veterinary Soft Recovery Dog Collar:

Love this product. Wish all vets used it...the stiff plastic collars seem cruel and embarrass the dogs.
Only problem is that this is my second collar (in maybe one year) from you. She has pretty much torn into the first layer of collar on outside from her allergy scratching.
I feel safe in leaving my dog in this collar when I am not home during her high allergy periods.

Comments about Trimline Veterinary Soft Recovery Dog Collar:

This E-collar is not as durable as the rigid ones, but our dog would not tolerate the rigid type. She can still reach some parts of her body to chew, and even chews through the E-collar.She has been unable to chew all the way through the collar. The one placed on her by the vet, lasted about three weeks before she softened it up enough to reach the area we are trying to protect. For us, this product is our best solution which we hope will be short term. I ordered 2 of these because it was the best price I could find online. I will reorder as soon as she has sufficiently mutilated them. None of the local vets carry this particuluar product, so PetFood Direct was the best source of this product.

The dog was still able to reach her tail when I left the room! It was difficult to keep in place.
Nice idea but the stiff collars are more effective.

            Finally! Quality and price.
I was skeptical at first but knew I had to try something. I didn't want one of those big hard Elizabethan collars. My little dog Lily (Part Beagle part Pointer) about 40 lbs had to stop chewing and licking her front paw. She has been diagnosed with lick granulomas. I tried this collar. I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. She has had it on for well over a week without any problems. She got use to it quickly. Now it seems as though she doesn't know its there. With any luck she will have forgotten about licking her paw when I remove the Collar.

Comments about Trimline Veterinary Soft Recovery Dog Collar:

I hate the hard plastic e-collars they put on my dog at the vet. He had an upcoming surgery removing several lumps so I knew they would put that awful hard plastic e-collar on him so I ordered this soft sided one. As it turned out the vet was glad I did because one of the lumps was on his neck and they would not have been able to use their collars because it would have rubbed the stitches. This collar worked out perfectly and it is more comfortable for my dog to wear and he hasn't been able to get to any of his stitches. He has allergies also so I will be able to use it in the future for times he starts scratching.
