    Mildest food for delicate stomach

This is the ONLY food my standard poodle, with chronic colitis, can tolerate. I just wish it wasn't so pricey. Especially given I'm on a fixed income

This is about the only food my fella can eat. He has struggled with IBD for 4 years now. This is the food he has been on now for about two years. We tried other limited ingredient diets but to no avail. We are thankful that this food helps us manage the IBD.

Our toy fox terrier was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. She seems to be much better after eating this diet. We do need to cut the chunks before feeding.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Hypoallergenic PD Potato and Duck Dry Dog Food:

This is about the only dog food our Jack Russell Terrier will eat. She does have some minor allergies and this was recommended by our veterinarian . Her first choice would be ground beef so sometimes we have to add a small quantity of hamburger to get her taste buds going. The 7 lb bag is a convenient size and this lasts about 8 to 10 weeks. It's a pain that we have to get a prescription for this product but I figure that is how the vet gets their commission and the free shipping makes it worthwhile. I would recommend it for a small finicky eater.

I feed this to both my Saint Bernard and my Yorkie. They both have a lot of food allergies and this food works very well for them and they love it! The only con is that it gets very expensive since my Saint Bernard eats a lot:-)
