Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Canine Potato & Whitefish Dry Dog Food:

After our little cream poodle Honeybee had an allergic tummy reaction to her beef and chicken healthy diet, I knew something was very wrong. She does not eat stray cookies or pick up anything in the yard, never did. I knew it had to be the beef and/or chicken protein. I immediately got on the internet and learned how in England the white fish/potato diet was so popular for dogs not able to eat beef or chicken or both meat proteins. Duck, rabbit, venison is just too rich. I bought the PW from my own vet. He had the dry and wet in stock and OMG, she loved it, gobbled that evenings food and never had one problem since. I mix wet and dry together at times, sometimes just dry w/fresh home cooked white fish the family eats, sometimes with sweet potato or a bit of white baked potato from our dinner, peas ONLY, but always adding the PW to her meals (I feed 3 because she is tiny).... either wet or dry. I think she really knows that she cannot eat chicken or beef. Its sorta amazing! Cannot recommend this food more! Just keep your baby on it and stick to that protein even if you give a little bit of fresh cooked a couple times a week. (If your dog is white, its more probable chick/beef protein is a problem).
