Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypo PD Peas & Duck Formula Dry Cat Food:

My cat struggled with digestive issues for almost a year but once her vet put her on this food her digestive problems went away. We alternate between the green peas and duck and green peas and venison to giver her some variety and she loves both varieties and has no problem switching between them. We also give her canned food once/week and she does very well with that too! I listed the price as a "con" but when you price out daily servings over a period of time it is only marginally more expensive - but you save money by not having to buy vet meds to treat digestive problems and you save any costs to clean up unintended messes around the house so the cost is really not that big of an issue as long as my pet thrives - I am happy!

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Hypo PD Peas & Duck Formula Dry Cat Food:

My cat's irritable bowel syndrome made eating ordinary food impossible. This food, both dry and canned, controls her condition and, with medication, give her a great quality of life. She's healthy, has plenty of energy and is very interested in the world around her.

For prescription food, it is a great value since there are no fillers or odd products in it. A single bag lasts a long time.

If there is a negative, it's that this food doesn't smell terrific to humans. My cat doesn't seem to mind a bit - all she knows is that tastes good to her, and her human servant can just deal with it!
