Comments about Nutro Max Cat Chicken & Lamb Formula Canned Cat Food:

I have a large male cat age 7 who had a few UTI's 2 yrs ago. My vet put him on Rx dry & wet food. I hated the ingredients in that food. After reading up on feline nutrition, I slowly transitioned him off dry food completely. I researched the ingredients in a lot of wet cat foods and decided on Nutro Max chicken and lamb. The ingredients are excellent with meat being the first. Cats are carnivores and require meat (protein) NOT grains. Also, since cats are not big water drinkers typically, feeding them a wet food diet allows for 70%+ moisture vs. less than 10% from dry food. My cat LOVES this food. No more Rx food. His energy and coat has improved. He's lost a little weight & I couldn't be happier.
