Comments about Nature's Variety Prairie Venison & Barley Medley Dry Dog Food:

Rather expensive but any company that will guarantee its product contains NO corn, wheat, or soy is worth at least a try. I have three (3) male Schnauzers and all have food allergies (corn, wheat, and soy). One thing to mention, never ever mix protein sources. I made the initial mistake of mixing this venison with the current turkey. The Schnauzers were itchy, bloated, very uncomfortable. Once I eliminated one protein source, viola! We are all doing well now, thanks to Nature's Variety and my short learning curve.

Comments about Nature's Variety Prairie Venison & Barley Medley Dry Dog Food:

I have two labrador retrievers, one with allergy problems. After a course of antibiotics and steroids to get the infections in check and with a change to this new diet the change in this dog is unbelievable. His ears have not looked this clean and/or healthy in years. He never chews on his paws and no longer shakes his head. He is a changed dog. Additionally, both dogs' coats are brighter and shinier and their stools are firmer and less stinky. Another positive is that his room-clearing gas is gone.

This food is somewhat expensive, but worth it as I see my happier and healthier dog thrive on it.
