The small spaces cat litter is the best we have found for our 3 cats. Things I like about it: it reduces the odor better than any others I have tried, is easy to scoop, lasts longer than most. What I don't like about it: I can't find anything I don't like about the litter except that it does not clean itself!

When you first open the tub of litter, it does smell very good. Unfortunately, that smell doesn't last past the first or second use. The litter DOES NOT clump, whatsoever, and I have never had a dustier litter in my house. Windows are open in Winter because of the dust, and paw prints are everywhere. The litter tracks so bad that I have three pet rugs between the box and my carpet, regularly vaccumed, and still find granules across the house.

I live in a mobile home where the only place for the litter box is in the tiny master bath. Some litters I tried stunk before the cat ever used them and some did not block the smell after use. I have a defective (but lovable) cat who doesn't cover up his poop, so in my small space I immediately know when he's left me a present. I go in and do the cover-up with a scoop and odor is gone. This is the only kind of litter I will buy.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have 2 adult male diabtetic cats, so our litter boxes are high volume places (no pun intended)- the better the litter clumps, the easier it is to keep clean. This brand (and I have tried many) works the best for me.

I really like the litter overall. I am glad PetFood Direct is carrying it up the stairs for me now, because it's very heavy. But it clumps well, and has a pleasant scent. The only down side is that it tracks a little more than I'd like. I will continue to use the product.
