Very Good Product! I've tried a couple of different foods for our two ferrets. I noticed they were starting to get thin and their fur wasn't as thick as it should be. After doing a bit of research and reading the reviews here and on other sites we decided to give it a try. "the rats", as we call them, love it and they've regained the lost weight and their coats have returned to normal. It may be a bit pricey, but well worth it!

All seven of my ferrets were on Evo until Procter and Gamble bought the company. Then I started noticing weight loss, hair loss, and constant diarrhea in all of my boys. After ruling out any medical issues, I began looking around for another food since it seemed like something changed in the Evo. I switched them to Wysong Epigen 90 and had no more problems. Wysong is a little less than the Evo and it's a much better product. I hope PFD starts carrying Wysong, it's a great product and a great company.

Comments about EVO Dry Ferret Food:

This is absolutely the best ferret food on the market. Read the label and you'll see the first 5 ingredients are all protein based. If you have an older ferret, 50% protein may be a little rich but if they tolerate it, by all means feed it.
I have 10 rescued ferrets and mix Evo in with all of the other foods I use plus I keep a separate bowl of it as well.
Again, it's the best out there.

Comments about EVO Dry Ferret Food:

This is definitely one of the best ferret foods. 50% protein, I believe that 90% of that 50% protein (last I checked anyways), is from meat protein - and that is what you want for obligate carnivores. They are designed to eat meat.

Was feeding my two ferets Marshalls brand food. They were getting thin and so were their coats. Changed to EVO about 3 months ago and they are back to normal!
