4 of our 5 cats eat this food, but not with much enthusiasm. They think it is just ok. The fifth cat just won't have anything to do with it. I probably won't buy again, only because if I'm paying a premium for food, the wee beasties need to really, really like it. That being said, I think this food is a good quality, high protein, low carb food. I like that it's organic, human grade turkey with no grain and limited vegetable content. One thing I did notice was that the ingredient list on the can lists organic pea flour as the third ingredient, which is NOT in the ingredient list on this website. So if you are looking for a food with no veg matter, this one won't work. Also, the ash content needs to be listed in the crude analysis. Other than that, I'd say if your cat likes it, I'd recommend it. It's still a better quality food than most.

I recently decided to switch my cat's diet to something made with quality products. My cat enjoyed his new food right away. My friend recommended this product and it has beeen a great change so far.

My cats are liking this at the moment. They're 15 and 17 and notoriously picky, so one day they'll like something, the next they won't. However I think we'll stick with this for a while. We eat all organic. Our parrot eats all organic. And we want our cats to eat in the same healthy manner. I bought from PFD because my local pet store refuses to carry this, because he has some moral issue with the company. I personally checked them out and they do seem to be up-and-up though they may very well produce other products that are not organic and possibly questionable (AND...btw, my cats HATED the dry. Waste of money).
By the way, I gave this 3 stars because By Nature doesn't give adequate information on their website about where it's manufactured, by whom, which organic group certifies, and it also doesn't give ash and magnesium content. Those are serious things which indeed could cast doubt on the company. It took me weeks of research and then, often the company didn't return a call for a week and a half. Not good.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My cat had problems with keeping her food down for years - until I found by Nature Organics Turkey and Turkey Liver canned food. Now, that's all I feed her and she is thriving.
