Nylabone Dental Ball is a therapeutic chew device specifically designed to aid in the fight against periodontal disease in dogs. Its raised dental tips actually attack plaque and tartar build-up. This product is clinically proven to reduce tartar build-up. Ideal for puppies and most non-aggressive chewing adult dogs. New flavor enhancement makes this product irresistible to dogs!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a non-edible chew product that is NOT intended for consumption. During normal chewing, tiny bristle-like projections are raised that help clean teeth. If these tiny pieces (no larger than a small grain of rice) are ingested, they should pass through. A dog should not be able to break off larger pieces of any Nylabone Non-Edible Chew. If you think that your dog swallowed a large piece of a Non-Edible Chew, take the chew away and contact your veterinarian for advice. No dog toy or chew is totally indestructible. Frequently inspect any chew before giving it to your dog to make sure it's whole and intact, with no missing pieces. Replace a Non-Edible Chew when knuckle ends are worn down, or if it becomes too small to chew safely. Nylabone Chews and Toys should not be boiled, placed in a dishwasher, washing machine, or convection or microwave oven.

This bone is great for my beagle. He was having teeth issues and hates having them brushed. He loves this bone and it has improved his gums.

The other reviewer is right that this bone doesn't last terribly long, but nothing does with my dog. He's been swallowing the tiny little pieces for a year now and they've never done him any harm. He goes through about one of these every other month.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My dog is a medium chewer, probably even less. This bone began to break off pieces within the first 20 minutes of chewing, which can be dangerous if swallowed. The regular Nylabones are better.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
