after reading the "negtive" comment above...wow, that is to bad her cat did poorly...my cat did the complete opposite. HE LOVE IT. My cat has had uti twice, only because I thought after getting over it the 1st time, I thought he can go back to eating regular again....not so. I became pro-active and he has not had another problem since, almost a year now. Now I do agree with another writer stated...something incentive to help cut the cost. It is to costly. I do love my Cat and I want to keep him healthy, but there got to be a better ways to help the consummers.

My cat has been eating this for about 9 months due to a crystal problem. It did the job of getting rid of the crystals, but I'm not impressed with the quality of the food. Pork by-products as the first ingredient? yuck. Prior to this, he was eating premium quality food with no by-products or unnecessary fillers which cost less than this food. After eating the Hill's C/D, his skin and coat quality has gone down hill...a lot. He hardly used to shed at all, and now there's cat hair everywhere. His coat is dry and dull and he sheds like crazy all year round. My other cat, who continues to eat a premium food, does not have this problem.

My cats go crazy for this stuff, and as they're starting to get a little older, my vet recommended c/d to help keep their urinary track healthy. I've also noticed a softer coat!
