My dauchshund has had stomach issues for many years, after he was cured the first time, very expensive stays at the vet, I ended up putting him back on regular food... my mistake. After a while he began having similar issues, I immediately put him back on this food mostly dry, but some wet as well, and he was fixed and good as new. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny to keep my little AJ in tip top shape and keep his belly feeling good. He loves the taste of it anyway, so he really thinks he's just getting extra spoiled!

I buy this for my dog and he was eating both the dry kibble and the canned. Lately he has turned up his nose at the canned i/d. Expensive and hate wasting an open can. Coupons very hard to get to help with the cost of the product. Limited by Hill's website. Called customer support a while back and they said they would send me several coupons. NEVER received them. Going to look for an alternative food for my dog with vets recommendation.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

I have a gs puppy who was having some diaherra and other digestive troubles. Our vet put him on ID and it has helped tremediously. I do have a concern because he is only a 6 month old puppy and is still growing and needing important nutrients for his size but hopefully he will do ok.

Great Product, Fast Results

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

Our German Shepherd puppy had mushy poop issues since the day we brought him home. His first vet visit noted he did have worms so we contributed the poop issues to that. However, after months of mushy poop and putting the poor puppy on and off of worm medicine the vet finally recommended hills prescription diet I/d. We saw improvements within a few days and would say that 90% of the time we don't have the mushy poop problem. Our puppy loves the food and is never picky when eating it and has really filled out over the last few weeks that he has been on it, and the amount of poop is remarkably less, so win win!

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

Our 14 year old Cocker has had major issues with diarrhea over the years. Ever since our Veterinarian suggested we switch to this Foo (almost 2 years ago now) her issues disappeard. Yes it is pricey, but we gave a happy and healthy dog again!

Amazingly great food

By Nothing special

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

We're giving i/d prescription diet gastrointestinal health food (can) from February 2016 to our white colored golden retriever Leo. Our vet prescribed this food as our pet is allergic to almost everything. After giving continuously for 6 months now his stomach is better. Our pet is 1 year and 4 months old. Canned food is more good than I/d dry food. My pet is not tolerating I/d dry food which is chicken flavoured . We're living in Cochin,Kerala, India.
