My dauchshund has had stomach issues for many years, after he was cured the first time, very expensive stays at the vet, I ended up putting him back on regular food... my mistake. After a while he began having similar issues, I immediately put him back on this food mostly dry, but some wet as well, and he was fixed and good as new. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny to keep my little AJ in tip top shape and keep his belly feeling good. He loves the taste of it anyway, so he really thinks he's just getting extra spoiled!

This helps with my dogs GI issues, I have no doubt about that, but the price keeps me from being able to afford it every time. Our other 2 dogs eat a premium diet, so I switch back and forth for our 3rd dog. There is so much information regarding what to feed our dogs that it gets confusing as to what is truly healthy for them and what is not. I wish I could feed this every time though because I don't want my dog getting sick again.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

This food is the only one my 14 year old standard poodle can keep down. She vomits up any other food now that she is older.

Switching to this helped our dog

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

We are on our fourth extra large bag of this food and about to purchase our fifth bag. This food has helped our dog with his health and digestive issues. He is 100 lbs and eats 5 cups a day. Two in the morning, one at noon and two in the evening. He likes the taste and it helps his stomach.

I recommend!

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

My Teacup Poodle has digestive issues and has blood in her stool with everything BUT I/d. Her doctor recommended this after trying several other things. It's been a blessing!! The only thing I don't like about it is that it DOES have by-products in it... which is gross AND unnecessary. Hopefully Hill's will remove those ingredients SOON!

It is good for my 12 1/2 year old Boxer.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

My Boxer is 12 1/2 yrs. old and he does well on this product. Been on it a long time. The cost has gone up and it is not cheap, but he is worth it. Each month we try to find coupons to help with the cost of the 35lb. bag. Petsmart helps with this. And sometimes online coupons. Could use more.
