My dauchshund has had stomach issues for many years, after he was cured the first time, very expensive stays at the vet, I ended up putting him back on regular food... my mistake. After a while he began having similar issues, I immediately put him back on this food mostly dry, but some wet as well, and he was fixed and good as new. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny to keep my little AJ in tip top shape and keep his belly feeling good. He loves the taste of it anyway, so he really thinks he's just getting extra spoiled!

This helps with my dogs GI issues, I have no doubt about that, but the price keeps me from being able to afford it every time. Our other 2 dogs eat a premium diet, so I switch back and forth for our 3rd dog. There is so much information regarding what to feed our dogs that it gets confusing as to what is truly healthy for them and what is not. I wish I could feed this every time though because I don't want my dog getting sick again.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

i ordered this for my carne corso when she developed what the vet diagnosed as pancreatitis. she is 6 years old and couldnt hold down the usual kibble so this bland diet was recommended. it helped shed some weight off the dog, it is of good quality as my dog's coat continues to be shiny, and she immediately stopped vomiting and since never had any bouts of vomiting when started on this diet.

Expensive but works

By Anonymous

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

Our puppy, Maggie, had to be put on this food because she kept throwing up no matter what we did (we tried slow feeding/acid reducers per vet orders/etc). Since we have put her on this food (about a month now), Maggie hasn't thrown up since. It's very expensive, but it really does work when nothing else has.

The ID food keeps us out of the Vets office

By DeWayne

from South Carolina, USA

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

THE FOOD DOES A GREAT JOB, OF KEEPING CLARA ACTIVE AND OUT OF THE VETS OFFICE BECAUSE OF HER STOMACH. WE HAVE TRIED TO CHANGE SLOWLY, BUT HER DIGESTIVE SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW US TO.

My dog does well on it but my wallet does not

By citygirl321

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Dry Food:

Too bad it is so expensive. My dog likes it and it helps her sensitive stomach but the price is way too high. The coupons help a little but not much.
