This product helps with my dogs digestive system. She would get sick every 6 days before we started on this product. Now, she has not been sick in over 2 months. We are also feeding her 4 times a day now so her stomach doesn't get empty. She absolutely loves the taste of this food. She is a 12 year old Miniature Pinscher and weighs 9 pounds.

We have been using the Prescription Diet ID in wet form for 9 months now. During that time, we have had 13 cans that had medium to large sized air pockets in them which decreased the quantity of dog food for which we paid full price on. Now this week, we received a can from lot #T0110102 7008 that has valid dating until June of 2016. In this can, there is a center of fluid with a large dark center of some material that looks awful. I have saved the can and the sample. I have previously reported that partially filled cans to our vet but unknown mass of black material is a new complaint.

The product solved my dogs digestive problem.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

I HATE the 13 oz cans this stuff comes in. For a smaller pet the 5.5 oz can would certainly be much more convenient. The quality of the product has helped my pets digestive problems and since starting on it he is just fine. I assume the quality of what is in it is good since it has solved his problems.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

I have a 3 year old smaller shelter dog (poodle, schnauzer and maybe more mix). He came with a very sensitive stomach. I tried slightly cheaper limited ingredient foods from other makers (e.g. Nutro, Authority) and this prescription food is the only thing that does not upset his stomach. Only drawback is the cost.

This product has great features

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

My 4 lb Maltese is so much healthier since he has been on this diet. He enjoys both the dry and wet. He seems stronger to me. He has not been to the vet since he started on this diet except for routine visits. I just wish it came in smaller cans for the little ones. He also loves the Hypo-Treats.

Would like to see the ID canned dog food with the flavor of the chicken stew made into a dry dog food form.
