This product helps with my dogs digestive system. She would get sick every 6 days before we started on this product. Now, she has not been sick in over 2 months. We are also feeding her 4 times a day now so her stomach doesn't get empty. She absolutely loves the taste of this food. She is a 12 year old Miniature Pinscher and weighs 9 pounds.

We have been using the Prescription Diet ID in wet form for 9 months now. During that time, we have had 13 cans that had medium to large sized air pockets in them which decreased the quantity of dog food for which we paid full price on. Now this week, we received a can from lot #T0110102 7008 that has valid dating until June of 2016. In this can, there is a center of fluid with a large dark center of some material that looks awful. I have saved the can and the sample. I have previously reported that partially filled cans to our vet but unknown mass of black material is a new complaint.

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

My baby had Pancreatitis, he couldn't eat or drink.
Thank god my Vet caught it early. She immediately changed his diet to ID. He wouldn't eat anything at first, then he started eating the ID from my hand, then from his bowl. We still don't know the exact amount to feed him, although he has put back on the weight he had lost. Still trying to get him back on his regular feeding schedule. An expensive dog food but he is worth every penny.

Wow! My dog's fish breath is GONE :)

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

I am incredibly happy to still have my sweet 8-yr old Yorkie after an attack of pancreatitis which resulted in a vet recommended switch to this prescription food (started with canned, now on dry). He is totally back to his old self but with the added bonus of completely odor-free breath! I had no idea food was causing his stinky mouth but on top of needing this special food which costs 4x what I used to buy; loosing his fish breath makes the increased cost worth it!
