This product helps with my dogs digestive system. She would get sick every 6 days before we started on this product. Now, she has not been sick in over 2 months. We are also feeding her 4 times a day now so her stomach doesn't get empty. She absolutely loves the taste of this food. She is a 12 year old Miniature Pinscher and weighs 9 pounds.

We have been using the Prescription Diet ID in wet form for 9 months now. During that time, we have had 13 cans that had medium to large sized air pockets in them which decreased the quantity of dog food for which we paid full price on. Now this week, we received a can from lot #T0110102 7008 that has valid dating until June of 2016. In this can, there is a center of fluid with a large dark center of some material that looks awful. I have saved the can and the sample. I have previously reported that partially filled cans to our vet but unknown mass of black material is a new complaint.

Good for sensitive stomachs

By ejshea

from Henrico, VA

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

My dog has been using Hill's ID dog food for nearly 12 years. Since she has a very sensitive stomach, it has seemed to work well for her. I have found the mixture to be inconsistent at times. Sometimes it is a very liquid mixture and sometimes a very solid mixture. The vet recommended mixing peas and carrots with it. Even though I feel that it is very overpriced and can only be purchased at a vet, I have hesitated to try other brands that deal with sensitive stomachs.

The GI food has help our Shepard mix immensely.

By Wilson

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

We got our Shepard mix 6 months ago from a rescue. About a month ago he got real bad diarrhea. Went to the vets thru the tests it was nothing that was in his system. Our vet suggested the GI food from Science Diet. Although more expensive the results we see in him are well worth it.

Love the product

By Vanco

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Canine Canned Food:

My rat terrier is almost 16 with lots of issues. One issue she no longer has is stomach upset the I/D has helped her tremendously. The only drawback is the cost and lack of coupons to help. Otherwise I am very pleased
