My cat who has liver problem, has not been eating lately. He lost interest in food in general. I tried many different brand/type of food. This is similar to the Hill's AD can food from the Vet. It is very soft and pasty, you can add a little bit water so, it would be easy to put in a syringe to force feed him. He was not showing any interest in this neither.

My little chihuahua has been diagnosed with CHF, stopped eating 6 days ago. I was pureeing food and feeding her with a syringe. Vet recommended this and pepsid and it was the first thing she ate.

My kitten was diagnosed with a Diaphragmatic Hernia and at around 8 weeks is only 2.5 lbs and can barely choke down anything. Royal Canin was so easy to mix with water (or chicken broth! The more calories for this little boy the better) and he quite literally pounced on it. A 1/5 can every 2 hrs and he's finally gaining MUCH needed weight for his surgery.

My small poodle has valley fever and hadn't eaten for four days. Only drank with a syringe. When the vet just opened the can of Recovery she wanted the food right out of the can, could hardly wait until it was put into a dish. Then she ate as soon as food was put in front of her.She only gets a 1/4 of a can at a time but it is so easy to get the pills down her now mixed in the food
