My 2 year-old cat has developed urinary tract problems, viz., the formation of crystals which plug his urethra. Hill's "CD" dry and canned food are, according to my veterinarian, my little "Zephyr's" only alternative food that will keep him well-fed and healthy. He's been on the food ever since his visit to my vet. and the flushing out of his bladder and urinary tract. So far, he seems to be doing well. And because "Zeph" will have to stay on the "CD" food for the rest of his life, I sweeten up each meal with a little extra loving from me.

One of our cats has multiple heath issues, include a recent bout with urinary tract problems. We mix his morning medication in with his wet food. The texture of c/d is a little odd - we add a few drops of water and mix it in - seems to help. Our cat prefers the seafood flavor over the chicken flavor c/d. More flavor options would be nice. The Prescription Diet line is rather expensive, but seems to be working - no urinary tract problems since switching to c/d.

I feed my cat this flavor of canned food and the chicken flavor and she hasnt had any urinary issues since the vet put her on it. I'm so thankful I have this product- dont know what I would do if we didnt have it! She likes it a lot, too, which is definitely a plus!

    She Likes It!!

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health with Seafood Canned Food:

Thought changing to the c/d diet would be difficult as my Mitzi is quite finicky. Was very surprised. Tried the chicken first--no go! Then tried the fish and it was a hit! She licks the bowl clean. Thanks, Hills!

Even I can't stand the smell

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health with Seafood Canned Food:

I am sorry to say that my cat will not touch this food, even if I mix with something else. She just sniffs and walks away. I must say that it does smell worse that any cat food I have ever opened.

    CD for Cats Works

    By AbitaBB

    from Louisiana

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Feline Bladder Health with Seafood Canned Food:

Sylvester has been on this since early summer 2013 when he had a near-death episode of stopped-up urethra. No further problems, urine testing continues to be good. It doesn't seem to have the best smell or texture for his sloppy-roast-beef preferences, but he does it eat pretty well; really likes the CD crunchies.
