Helps my 9 year old in-door cat cope with her food allergies. She is actually a great deal better! She is so allergic to most foods that if she eats a crumb of people food she will get a miserable yeast type infection in both of her ears and her back claws will get fungi infections!! Z/D has helped keep her symptoms in check! She gets 1/4 cup of Z/D only, twice daily, in her automatic food feeder and is 10x more active and playful then when she was a kitten!! A healthy cat is a happy cat!!

My cat with tummy issues rarely touches the dry Z/d food. He enjoys the canned version and would probably eat more than a can a day if I could afford it. However, the dry food is rarely touched. I replace it frequently and notice that some is consumed on occasion, but certainly not daily. Is there something that can be done to jazz up the taste and still uphold the health aspect of the product? Thanks. Peg

Hills Prescription Diet feline z/d

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Low Allergen Feline Dry Food:

Two of my cats have tried z/d. One was later switched to i/d. The other cat just started eating it, and it's too soon to say if it will help with his ear issues. Both seemed to like the dry okay, but neither would eat the canned version. The canned version has a strange, almost gelatin-like texture. Not sure if Hills can do anything about that for the future?

Seems to be helping

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Low Allergen Feline Dry Food:

One of my cats seems to have a food allergy of some kind, and throws up a lot. I shopped around and tried a few brands of dry cat food, but he gets the same reaction. My vet recommended we try Hill's Prescription z/d Feline Low Sensitivity cat food, and I think it's helping. He still throws up, but not as much. My other two cats eat this food as well. They don't love the taste of it, but they eat it. I also tried the canned version of this food, but only 1 of my 3 cats will eat that. I think it's pretty expensive, but if it helps my cat, it's worth it.

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN VERY GOOD MEDICALLY FOR CATS

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Low Allergen Feline Dry Food:

I have two cats that are on the Hills Prescription Diet ZD. They do very well on this food as their fur is very shiny and eyes are clear. I give both cats the dry as well as the canned food. The only negative thing about this food is the price. I feel that it is rather expensive for a 8 pound bag

Its the only thing my cat can eat

By steeltowngirlpa

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Low Allergen Feline Dry Food:

I have a cat that has serious allergies and can't eat anything else but this with out digging himself to an open sore, so my 9yr old is on the same food to keep everyone happy. The bags I buy are 8 lbs and that only lasts me a month, I wish this food would come in a larger bag, SO IS THAT POSSIBLE? A 20 lb bag would keep me from having to buy it every month, and if the bag was cheaper than buying two 8 lb bags ....HOW ABOUT YOU DOING THAT FOR SOME ONE THAT HAS PUT OUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR TO KEEP A CAT ALIVE.
