Helps my 9 year old in-door cat cope with her food allergies. She is actually a great deal better! She is so allergic to most foods that if she eats a crumb of people food she will get a miserable yeast type infection in both of her ears and her back claws will get fungi infections!! Z/D has helped keep her symptoms in check! She gets 1/4 cup of Z/D only, twice daily, in her automatic food feeder and is 10x more active and playful then when she was a kitten!! A healthy cat is a happy cat!!

This is a prescription product that the vet said my cat definitely needed. My cat eats it, but he doesn't really like it. If I put a separate food option out, he'll eat the other. So I leave this one out as the only option so that he's forced to eat it.

This prescription diet has really helped my cats

By Bunny143

from Chicopee, MA, USA

Comments about Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Low Allergen Feline Dry Food:

I adopted 2 cats who were very stressed out after being given up by their owners of 5 years. One was vomiting quite frequently and I brought to the vet who did blood work and a test for intestinal parasites. Tests showed nothing so vet put them on prescription diet. It is costly but works for my cats. Each time I tried to switch them to a non prescription diet, the vomiting would start again. I just wish it wasn't so costly.
