Comments about Royal Canin Breed Health Cocker Spaniel (25) Dry Dog Food:

I've been using Royal Canin for my now 8-year old Cocker Spaniel and he's loved it from the beginning. I started with the one for sensitive stomachs as this is a known issue with Cockers and mine does have a sensitive stomach. Since using Royal Canin he has less issues, he is the first dog I've ever owned that loves this dry dog food (always gave wet or table food to my dogs which were all purebreds) and now the #25 specifically for Cockers, who have a tendency to get a "wide girth", is working in tandem with a slight thyroid condition he has that caused him to go up to 50 pounds. Between the medication he is now on for his thyroid and the Royal Canin that is specific for overweight Cockers he has lost 12 pounds and looks FANTASTIC! His coat is jet black and he does well with Royal Canin. I've tried other dry dog foods and find RC to be the least "filled" dog food and also one that has aided in my beloved Cocker's weight loss. He's trim, fit, and at 8 acts like a puppy again!!

High quality ingredients make up this great product. Like the fact it is breed specific (Cocker Spaniel). This makes it quite expensive.

Comments about Royal Canin Breed Health Cocker Spaniel (25) Dry Dog Food:

I like this product because this was the only website that sells the bigger bag. It's better for me because I don't have to keep running to the store buying the smaller bags every month. The food came in 2 days after placing the order.

We have two Cocker Spaniels and you cannot find the 25lb bag in this area. The dogs love the food, and I like the auto ship feature.

          Manufacturer

The ethos of the Royal Canin brand is based on its unique vision of the dog and the cat: The conviction that dogs and cats are not human beings but animals, and as a result true respect obliges us to treat them as such. True respect implies certain obligations, one of which is the pursuit of knowledge. To truly know the animal and understand its specific physiological and nutritional requirements, and--in consequence--guarantee it a "tailor made" food in line with its real nutritional needs. Royal Canin's philosophy is therefore deliberately non-anthropomorphic. In the field of canine and feline nutrition, some manufacturers put the owners first and use them as the basis of all innovation. At Royal Canin, we put the dog and the cat at the heart of our research process; this is a radically different approach.
