Used daily on older dogs for arthritis and treatment of COPD.

Much less expensive than vet could provide.

        Will definitely order again.

Comments about Prednisone Tablets For Cats and Dogs:

Need to have frequent visits with the Vet and decrease the dosage slowly as the condition improves or give the lowest possible dosage if the pet will be taking it for the remainder of his life.

Comments about Prednisone Tablets For Cats and Dogs:

I bought the Presnislone for a beloved cat who suffers from an immune problem. These pills seem identical to the much more expensive vet supplied pills for about 1/3rd the cost.

Comments about Prednisone Tablets For Cats and Dogs:

My cocker spaniel is 13 years old now and ever since she was a puppy she's had very severe allergies which caused her skin to become irritated, red and inflamed. Our vet gave us Prednisone which we ended up using for quite a few years. It started out great and kept our dog from scratching/itching constantly, but the medicine gradually lost its effectiveness on her and we had to switch her to a new medicine.
I would definitely recommend this product for pet owners who need to treat mild allergies. Maybe my dog's allergies were just too strong and that's why the Prednisone stopped working.
