My vet prescribed Clomicalm for my dog's separation anxiety and then we switched her to this generic. You have to combine it with behavior modification training for it to be effective. It took about 3 weeks before I noticed an improvement - overall anxiety much lower, less clingy, better focus. Did not have any negative side effects - didn't change personality or make her sleepy. Definitely helped her separation anxiety and I wish I had put her on it sooner.

I have been using this product for well over two years and my dog has exhibited less aggression towards people. Couple this with behavior modification and you have a good combination. My dog gets run on a bike every day and I feed him quality food, he still remains jumpy and can occasionally snap for no reason, but happens less frequent

This product just does not work. I worked at an animal shelter and saw this med tried over and over again with no results. I tried it on my own dog...no results, I've spoken with trainers who say they've never seen it work yet Vet's continue to prescribe this stuff. I can only guess the markup must be great. maybe there's some outside chance it will work with your pet but don't hold your breath.
