It helps to treat inflammation due to conditions such as conjunctivitis and some types of keratitis.<br><br><b>What are the benefits?</b><ul>1.Resolves/reduces eye inflammation;2.Easy to give treatment;3.Helps reduce eye redness and burning. <br><br><b>What outcomes can be expected? </b><br><br> Your pet should start feeling better and symptoms of eye redness, swelling, and inflammation should resolve. <br><br><b>Who is it for: </b>cats and dogs.<br><br><b>How is it given? </b><br><br>1. Follow your veterinarian’s prescribed directions.<br><br>2. Clean eyes using sterile eyewash prior to each treatment. <br><br>3. Shake well before use. Place one hand under and around your pet's chin and lift upward. You want your pet’s eyes are looking up at the ceiling. Squeeze the correct amount of drops into the corner of the affected eye(s) taking care not to touch the dropper to the eye(s). <br><br>4. Wash your hands well before and after applying medication. Stagger other eye medication applications by at least 5 minutes if your pet needs more the one eye medication. <br><br>5. <b>Dose and Administration:</b>Apply the prescribed quantity of drops to the affected eye(s). If you forget a dose, give it as soon as you remember but do not give two doses at once. Give this medication only to the pet it has been prescribed for. <br><br><b>Uses:</b> Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Solution is used in the treat of multiple inflammatory conditions of the eye(s). <br><br><b>Storage:</b>Store at room temperature out of reach from children and pets. <br><br><b>Possible Side Effects: </b>This medication is usually given with no problem bus side effect such as burning, stinging, itching, redness, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light have been reported. Other more rare side effects include glaucoma, cataracts, and perforation of the cornea.
