I recently inherited my mother's obese puggle. This dog was so large, that at the age of four, he had to start taking anti-inflammatories because of the pressure put on his joints (specifically his hind legs). It was heartbreaking to see. We decided to put this sweet dog on a carnivore diet to see what might happen. Grain-based foods, no matter if they were intended for "weight management" or were served in extremely restrictive quantities, had helped the dog. It has been two months now, and the dog has lost around 8 lbs and has much more energy. It is wonderful to see him jumping and running, chasing the cat, and getting around better than he ever has before. He also seems to behave better than he did before, his coat is shinier, and his breath is much less offensive.

All around a great product. I think it might have saved this dog's life.

Fantastic Food!

Comments about Nature's Recipe Grain Free Easy To Digest Salmon with Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Recipe Dry Dog Food:

My dogs LOVE this food. We switched to this grain free food about a year ago, from the Pure Essentials line. Our lab mix has a very sensitive stomach and skin. She will not/cannot eat chicken dry food, so she has always been on veal, venison, or salmon food. She eats this food without hesitation. We put some pure salmon oil on the food to promote healthy joints and even healthier skin. We are very happy with this food, and that it has been coming down in price! It is even easier to find in different pet stores, now!
