My cat Jasper had repeated issues with urinary crystals. The vet recommended putting him on a special urinary health food. Since he is also overweight, I changed over from Science Diet to Royal Canin SO Moderate Calorie. Jasper hasn't had an updated urinalysis yet, so I can't say how well it is working, but he does enjoy both the canned and dried food. Since he raids his sister's dish, she is on the same food now. It's pricey, but if it solves his health problem, I'm willing to pay the extra price. He gives a lot of love back for his care.

I wanted to give the cats some variety from diet
of dry food. Very disappointed that neither will
touch the morsels except to lick the gravy off
them. The male cat is troubled by crystals in
urine, so his choices are limited. Previous
cats whom I fed on Fancy Feast would not eat
morsel type food in that brand either. I'm
out thirty-five dollars.

Lately I've been so disappointed, it suppose to have more gravy than the original sos, my cat has been wasting so much because the lack of gravy ! I seriously thinking about switching to a different line ! Otherwise I never had a problem with her eating it all up. I spend $55 a month on this food, plus I also feed her the hard food! I would normally recommend this product.

When we needed to start our 2 year old cat on this due to crystals in his urine and a blockage, we decided to start our 6 year old cat on it as well! They love the taste and are happy and healthy!

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Canned Cat Food:

My beloved Gray Cat had crystals in his urethra and could not potty. He had to have surgery to help him urinate again. Our vet prescribed Royal Canin Urinary SO canned and dry food for our feline family member. He has been eating it for over a year now and has no issues at all. We even write down on our calendar daily potty habits so we know for sure how many times is urinates. Thank You Rayol Canin for making such a great food choice for our kitty!!!!

Loves the taste!

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Canned Cat Food:

We bought this through the vet after our cat almost died from FLUTD. He loves the taste of both the wet and dry food. It's a very good thing that he does since there isn't many options out there. We have tried other brands but Royal Canin is the one he prefers.
