I have 3 cats that developed intestinal issues, and we're also affected by urinary stones. After several very expensive vet trips, procedures, and overnight vet visits it was recommended by my vet that they go on this food. It may say gastrointestinal, but it has the same ingredients needed to prevent urinary stones. In the 3 years they have been on this food, not one of my 3 boys has had a vet visit for anything other than normal checkups. The food is a little expensive, but has saved me a ton in vet bills! I also have 3 very happy, healthy kitties that love their food. They are all over 10 years old, but still have the energy of kittens. I look forward to many more years of fun!

My cat had been on another Royal Canin food for his urinary tract, and after about a year of that he started throwing up almost daily. Since we still have to keep an eye on his urinary tract this food is appropriate for both of his problems. He only throws up about once a week, which I still think is a lot. His feces is larger than I have ever seen come from a cat and I do not love the main ingredients of this food, especially for the price. I am sticking with it because of the recent developments in my cats heath but I would much rather feed him a more natural cat food.

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Fiber Response HF Dry Cat Food:

My veterinarian recommended this product after I'd had to take my constipated cat in for care for the third time. It was an immediate success, and my cat hasn't been constipated since, over two years ago.

No more sick cats!

By ldani28

Comments about Royal Canin Veterinary Diets Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Fiber Response HF Dry Cat Food:

This solved three separate issues for 3 separate cats. One was impacted constantly, the other had bloody loose stools with no diagnosis, the other was constipated a lot. NO more problems. I only wish the vet would have prescribed it sooner. Excellent food!
